By helping Girls Rock Camp Toronto you are changing the future for young folks! We are inspiring female-identified and gender non-binary kids to be themselves. We know what it's like to grow up without strong role models. Here is a chance to support and encourage kids to do what they love and have mentors by their side.
ROCK CAMP FOR GROWN UPS
OUR POPULAR ROCK CAMP FOR GROWN UPS IS BACK!
What?: 3 full days of music-making and spirited creative activity and discussion!
When?: April 13-15, 9:30-9:30 each day
How Much?: $275-500 (All proceeds go towards funding GRCT youth programming)
Where: The Tranzac, 292 Brunswick Avenue, Toronto
Rock Camp for Grown Ups is an intensive, three-day music and mentoring program for adult women (trans* and cis) and gender non-binary people 19 and older. The “grown-up” version of the summer camp for girls, this program brings together people from different walks of life and all levels of musical experience for a long weekend of instrument lessons, songwriting, band practice, and workshops, all culminating in a showcase concert at The Burdock. Classes are taught by experienced Toronto-based artists and professional musicians in small, focused groups of students. Sliding scale tuition makes the program accessible to people from a range of income levels.
